The Bowl Championship Series has paid former Oklahoma Sooner Felonious Land Thief and former U.S. Congress person J.C. Watts over $260,000.00 over the last five years for helping the BCS in Congress. Is J.C. Watts trying to torture OU fans everywhere? After all, the BCS did bring the wretched Sooner faithful this wonderful game:
You have my attention J.C., go on . . . anything that can lead to more of this:
is a proposal I will entertain.
I know this is a giant shock to everyone out there but the multi-billion dollar BCS operation is not eager to make way for a playoff. Like Sky Net, Hal 5000, and Johnny 5 the BCS has become self-aware and will do what is necessary to preserve itself. In light of the recent congressional hearings over the BCS, it is hard to say hiring a former Congress person for help in D.C. wasn’t a wise move. I am not here to debate the pros and cons of a potential college football playoff. I am here to point out the irony that the main victim of the system Mr. Watts’ is advocating is his alma mater the former vocational program, the University of Oklahoma. OU has played for in the BCS title game 4 times, winning the national title in 2000 and losing the title game 3 times. Let us review those loses, starting with my favorite. (Yes, I posted it twice but I love it that much.)
J.C. let me tell you, you have sold me on the BCS . . . any system that has the Land Thieves losing on a national stage like that has my approval
